Hello to all my Bloggie Friends! It's everyone's favorite day of the week....Pink Saturday! Yeah!! So give a big shout out to our fabulous hostess, Beverly, of
How Sweet The Sound for hosting this wonderfully fabulous event!
And a final reminder, I will be announcing the winner of my 2 Giveaways Saturday night, so if you haven't signed on as a follower yet, hurry and do so to throw your name in the hat for a chance to win one of them!
This week for Pink Saturday, I have a little hodge podge of different pink items to show you. First up, is this beautiful little lap quilt that I made a couple of years ago. I created a few of these and sold them on Ebay, and actually took some time to create one for me to keep! This one is done is squares of pretty pinks, soft greens, and of course, Roses! In between each square is a Vintage fancy carved Mother of Pearl button, or a vintage glass button. The squares I used on this quilt, I purchased from a lovely seller on Ebay, Specialjays, and she also has her own blog now...you can click
HERE to take you to it.

Below is a close-up of the quilt. Feel free to click on any photo to enlarge it :)

Next up is a sweet little accent pillow, yes, created by me. I purchased a set of these gorgeous vintage pillowslips with sweet embroidered rosebuds, and created 2 pillows with them. One was sold to a lovely ebayer buyer, and the other I kept for myself.

Here is a lovely pillow that I purchased about 4 or 5 years ago on Ebay from a lovely seller....look at all the gorgeous vintage lace trims used on each square! I just fell in love with this pillow, but who wouldn't, with all the beautiful pink rose print fabrics and lace trims!

Next, we have this perfectly shabby pink Vintage wicker hamper. This is kept in our bathroom, but I took it out to photograph it, as there is no window in there, and the lighting was "washing" out the pictures. I hope to someday have the lid (which is made of wood), handpainted with sweet pink roses!

Yes, ladies, I have Pink Cooking Utensils! Now, I only use the measuring cups and spoons. The rest are just for "Decorating Purposes Only" in my kitchen, lol :)

And lastly, is this sweet Vintage platter. I just purchased this sweetie today at my local Goodwill, for only $2.00. It is the perfect shade of shabby pink, and has the loveliest pink and yellow roses.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me for this Pink Saturday :) Please be sure to check out all the other wonderful blogs who are also participating....there are to be lots of wonderful pink things to behold!! And many of them are also showcasing where they create! I didn't sign up to participate this year, as I've been rather busy in that room as of late, but I did do a post a couple months ago showing the room I work in, and if you would like to see it, just click
HERE to take a look at it :)
Be sure to check back Saturday night to see who are the lucky winners of my giveaways!
