Vintage Pinks on the Porch for Pink Saturday

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Fabulous Pink Saturday, hosted by our very favorite Miss Beverly at HOW SWEET THE SOUND! Be sure to stop over and say hello.

For this weeks Pink Saturday, I thought I would take you outside to our front porch, as I did for this last Teacup party. This time I have our wooden glider draped with a vintage pink chenille, that I must say, has seen MUCH better days. This is what I usually have on it, as it has lots of little holes and thinning spots (plus we do have 4 outside kitties that love to lay on it). You'll also find my pretty pink Vintage Redmon picnic basket, (again), a vintage pink rose tablecloth, some pretty pink depression glass, a vintage metal tray, Vintage pink wicker chair, and some pretty vintage barkcloth pillows. And also a scrolly plant stand with REAL pink flowers :) I really love this charming vignette :)

Here are a couple of those pretty vintage rose barkcloth pillows. You've probably seen these before in previous posts I've done. And too, the chenille blanket.

And here is the Vintage Redmon basket. There's a vintage crochet doily and some pretty pink faux roses peeking out from it :)

Here you can see the vintage Pink Depression items. I only have a few pieces. I am showing a couple of glasses and 4 small plates. You can also see a little of the vintage pink rose tablecloth too.

This is the sweet little vintage silver tray that I painted pink. I have some pretty faux treats in it (remember, there are 4 outdoor kitties, so I can't bring any real food out here!)

And lastly, this is the vintage pink wicker chair, with another vintage rose barkcloth pillow. This is the chair I use in my sewing room. Love the sweet heart-shape back it has :)

I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me on my porch all filled with vintage pinks. Please do stop on over to all the other wonderful participating blogs that are featuring their pretty pinks.

Warmest hugs to you all! Brenda

What a BEAUTIFUL setting. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to live close enough to you to come over and sit on that porch and enjoy a glass of iced tea in those beautiful Depression glass glasses. (With my HORRIBLE allergy to kitties, though, I would surely have a problem...but I'd love to try.)

I am IN LOVE with your pillows. Actually, I'm in love with your entire porch. As always, you've inspired me and brought beauty to my day.

Love,
Patti

Dearest Brenda,

Thanks for returning the favor of following me too! Well, we both love cats & roses... This was a lovely blog. Love the pillows you got, also the one on the right in your header! The roses peaking out from the basket look like real. Never would think about painting such a silver (plated I hope...?) tray pink!

Enjoy your weekend and greetings from Georgia,

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY BRENDA,
I STILL SAY...THESE BEAUTIFUL POSTS OF YOUR PORCH NEED TO BE ON THE FRONT OF A MAGAZINE WITH MAYBE TWO OF THOSE FOUR KITTIES ASLEEP BY THOSE YUMMY PILLOWS. I THINK, IF TOO MANY OF US LIVED TOO CLOSE TO YOU, YOUR PORCH WOULD BE OVERFLOWING WITH WOMEN DROPPING BY FOR TEA. YOU ARE AWESOME.
HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.

Good Morning Brenda!
WoW! I just love this Pink Saturday display on your porch. I feel right at home!! The cushions and picnic basket are gorgeous! I have painted silverplate, too. It is a good way to spruce it up when the plating is damaged (It "hides a lot of sins" as my Momma used to say)
While I was cleaning out the garage, I "found" an antique wicker rocker from my Aunt Reet (I forgot it was there!!). Your pink wicker chair has inspired me!!! Next week I'll pink it up for another Pink Saturday exhibition!!!
Thank you so much for sharing. It is 2 am and I can't sleep, so I am reading your older posts. They are all wonderful!!!
Warm "pink" hugs, Laura

It's all so darling Brenda, and if I was passing by I would have to stop just to admire it all.. maybe I would have to approach you because of the beautiful setting... I've been nervy enough to have done that numerous times and always had a warm welcome. I'm also admiring your rug... wow that is nice too!

I love all of the nice pink things. I remember the basket from an earlier post, too..it's so cute :) :) Can I camp out on your porch and delight in the color pink all the time? :) :) :) I LOVED the pink Depression glass plates. where did you find yours? I have three pink Princess Depression glass plates I bought at a yard sale. It looks like two salad plates and the smaller one,..I'm not sure a saucer or maybe for some dessert!!! They're so sweet!!! Thanks for sharing all your lovely items. Oh, I had to laugh when you talked about your four kitty cats. I guess they know quality when they see it :) :) Have a lovely weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Your porch is so pretty and inviting...just a lovely summer retreat.
I am loving my magazine holder...thank you, thank you! I feel so lucky I got it before it went into your yard sale!

Keep cool...atleast today is breezy and pleasant. I don't like the "sticky" either, but it is better than slipping and sliding on the ice and snow and freezing to death! :-(
Hugs,

Was wondering if you have any tips to share and keeping cat hair off of your lovely cottage things? I use masking tape to get the hair off but geez, I could be doing that all day everyone! Just wondering how you do it!
