Pink Roses

Sharing some pink roses for you this Wednesday :)

A perfectly pink pillow made from a skirt......yes, that is correct, from a skirt. I simply removed the elastic waistband, machine gathered up the center, covered it with fabric from the inside lining, then attached the vintage chiffon millinery rose to the center. On the back, I stitched a Rachel Ashwell pink fabric, in a fold over style, and inserted a feather & down insert, and tah dah !! Loving how it all came out. I am now on the hunt for more skirts similar to this style to create more shabby pillows.

Beautiful! You are so talented. Wish I had an eighth of your sewing talent.

Pink roses are swoon-worthy. Love your fabulously artistic creations. Susan

That is absolutely amazing!!! I am so in awe of people who can look at an object and find an entirely new use for it. Your pillow is lovely, and the color is perfect!
