Hi everyone :) I just wanted to do a quick post today to show you this wonderful cabinet that hubby bought for me at an auction just over 2 weeks ago. It was already painted a white, but I wanted to give it a coat of my Linen white, which is a much softer white that I love. It's so nice to have something better than that old black metal shelving I was using to store my fabrics in (but truth be told, it is still in the room behind the door, and holding other containers, vintage sheeting, and my radio, but you can't see it). That is, until I find something nicer, lol :) The pretty boxes on top of the cabinet hold all my laces, trims, roses, etc...
The pretty vintage magazine rack you see was a Goodwill find last year.
This sweet little trumeau style mirror I bought at a yard sale just over a week ago. I painted it white (it was originally gold), and printed a larger image of one of my vintage Klein postcards to put in the top. This isn't anything old, it is actually from Home Interiors, but I love the vintage style feel that it has :)
Once again I won't be participating in Pink Saturday this week, and probably won't for the next few weeks, as my son's football season is getting into high gear, and I want my weekends to spend for myself, but I will try to visit some of you ladies blogs as I can. I will be participating in Teacup Tuesday though, and I am looking forward to showing you over the next couple of weeks some new beautiful cups that I have recently purchased!
Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!! Warmest hugs, Brenda

Hi Brenda, If ONLY you could see my fabric shelf (floor and table) right now, what a mess! LOVE your pretty shelf... it makes it MORE inspiring to have a beautiful fabric assortment displayed just right for the picking of a new project! Awesome job on your mirror too, so cottage chic! Have a fun weekend, I'm not able to participate in Pink Saturday this weekend either. My daughter's 21st B-day is tomorrow along with a breast cancer auction/fundraiser that I'm attending.
(((hugs)))

Beautiful and fabulous...you are amazing! Gorgeous charm!
Love the look you have created! The boxes are gorgeous and the mirror is lovely, too. Great job! Thanks for sharing and have FUN with your son. Susan
Love your new/old cabinet and all your beautiful fabrics. They look so pretty all on display like that. I just love it. Enjoy football season!
Dearest Brenda,
Wow, you are lucky for having your love buy you such a cabinet and he certainly knew that you would turn it into a 'gem' after adding the linen-white coat of paint. Indeed it is remarkable; as is for the mirror! Such things you cannot even buy ready made; looking that pretty. What a neat and romantic way of stashing your trims, roses and ribbons away.

That's great ...I loved the shelving AND that mirror...both super cute...and all that pink!!! OH my goodness...I loved seeing all those pretty linens. OH, I found a really cute dresser drawer...solid but thing wood at a yard sale today for $5...It's just got a few defects, but definitely serviceable...and I'm thinking I want to paint it...not sure if it's worth it..but I"m posting a photo of it tomorrow and you can tell me what you think :) ): Have a great weekend. Enjoy football!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
So organized AND pretty! Hubby did great on his find and you did wonders with it in your room!

Oh Brenda, that is beautiful!!! What a lovely way to store and display your fabrics. I would need about 10 of those for my fabric collection. I'm a craft supply junkie!
Anyway, it's beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs & Happy Pink Saturday!

I have been on the hunt for a cabinet like yours, only a bit narrower to fit the wall it will go on....I need another place for fabric...and then I will need another...hahaha! A never ending cycle!
Enjoy your sons football season....I remember when my sons played and our daughter was a cheerleader for one of them....those are great times!
Are you enjoying the "break" in the weather? I sure am!
