Romantic Display Washcloths

Thought I would share with you all what I did today; below are photos of 3 pretty display Washcloths that I embellished with pretty rose fabrics and both new and vintage trims ~ 2 of these will be listed tomorrow on Ebay, and 1 will be listed in my Etsy shoppe, and we'll see which venue works best for them ~ I hope you will take some time to check them out. I purchased the pretty pink washcloths a few months ago, and FINALLY got around to working on them. I think they turned out pretty nicely :) I've made several display handtowels, but this is the first time I have offered washcloths ~ they would look lovely displayed over a simple colored towel, in pink, white, or green, as these are the prominent colors in each of them.

UPDATE: All 3 washcloths are now listed on Ebay

They're gorgeous, Brenda...as is everything you create. If I had some extra money, I would be buying a couple of them. They would look fabulous in my half bath.

Hope you are well. I haven't been blogging too much lately, but I'm trying to get back on track...besides my Fill My Cup with Beauty blog, I've also decided to start a classic movie blog...AND I've started online college courses. Needless to say, I'm pretty busy.

Have a great day.

Love,
Patti

Brenda, very pretty and it's easy to see you have been busy. I love what you created with the wash cloths. They would be perfect in any bath.
I know also how it feels to purchase something and not get to it for months. I can easily get distracted and on to something else. I am in the middle of creating a play room for the grandchildren and not working like I should be. You are giving me some inspiration to get to work!! Love them and they will sell fast, Char

Hi Brenda, It will really be interesting to see whether etsy or e-bay sells first. They are so pretty and would be hard to choose which one I would like best. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Hey Brenda, it is the story of my life~buying something for a project and I get side tracked doing something else. Sometimes writing it down helps, but then I lose the piece paper I wrote it on, only to rediscover the project several months later.
Your washcloths are adorable with the vintage laces. Etsy can be fickle with the buyers of Vintage cottage style. I dont sell on ebay anymore because I hate the fees they charge, but you would probably do better over there. You could list both places and watch it close so you can delete the listing quick if it sells!
