TEACUP TUESDAY #9 & TEAPOT & TEA THINGS TUESDAY #3

Hello and welcome to another Teacup Tuesday and Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday!! I am linking up with MARTHA at marthasfavorites, TERRI at artfulaffirmations, and also with PAM at A Breath of Fresh Air, and also with Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday, so be sure to stop on over to each of these lovely ladies blogs to say hello, and to visit all the others who are participating this week.

This weeks little vignette features a pretty Royal Albert teacup, a pretty pink teapot, a vintage baby girls dress, a basket with pretty pink and white faux roses, and lastly, some sweet little faux cakes and paper flowers by Rhonda

First up is the lovely teacup...it is done in soft Aqua blues with gorgeous pink roses, and has a gold handle and footed bottom, with more gold edging the rim of the cup and the saucer.

Both of the cup and the saucer are marked ROYAL ALBERT, Bone China, ENGLAND.

Here is a close-up of the saucer. The roses are simply HEAVENLY!!

There is also a sweet little rosebud on the inside of the cup....you can also see that near the inside top it is softly shaded in the aqua blue.

Here is the pretty pink teacup, which I showed you in an earlier post, that I found at my local Goodwill.

This sweet vintage baby girls dress belonged to my sister's sister-in-law. My sister told me that she wore it when she was a baby. She also gave me 2 other of her sister-in-laws dresses too :) I have these displayed in my home.

And lastly, are Rhonda's pretty faux cakes and her pretty pink hand-made paper roses. Be sure to check out her website, which I have a link to that over on my sidebar.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my post this week. I always LOVE to have you come and visit with me. Now go on over and visit everyone who is participating to see what pretty teacups and tea things they have to share with all of us!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Happy 4th & Yard Sale Treasures!

Hello everyone, and Happy 4th of July!! I wanted to get this post in really quick before we get started on our dinner later....both yesterday and earlier this afternoon, Hubby and I went to a few yard sales, and I wanted to show you the sweet treasures that I found!

This first photo shows you the pretties I found at a couple of sales yesterday (Saturday).

At one sale I found this sweet wicker basket, which I plan to paint (either white or pink)

At another sale, I found the pretty white doily that is draped over the basket, this sweet little white sugar bowl, and the wire teacup with flowers. I plan to remove the flowers and paint the cup pink, then either put these flowers back on, or make a new bouquet of roses to place on it.

Also at this same sale, I found the sweet little teapot and the silver tea/coffee pot.

The last 2 items I got at this sale are the cute little Victorian shoe, and the bronze cherubs...not sure exactly what this is, but I like it!

At a sale we stopped at today, I found these great items!

First is this fabulous silver tea/coffee set, which includes the pot, the creamer, and the sugar with lid, PLUS this tray...all for just $25...not bad! They're marked ROGERS on the bottom.

And lastly, this sweet little Bavarian saucer....what precious little pink roses it has....for ONLY 25 cents!! I just wish it had it's matching cup...but I guess I'll just have to go on the hunt for it!

Until next time my sweet and fabulous bloggie friends!! Warmest hugs, Brenda

Pretty Stockings on Etsy & Goodwill find!

OMG!! Today has been such a busy day for me! My youngest son, Austin, took his final test for his Driver's Ed class for Segment 1, so over to the neighboring town where they have a Secretary of State office to get his permit (YIKES!!) Yes, I let him drive my car home...but boy if that wasn't the weirdest thing seeing my baby boy behind the wheel driving MY CAR!! Obviously we made it home all safe and sound, lol :) Then there were the several trips to the post office to ship out packages, running to the store to pick up some items for this weekend, etc.... I'm ready for a nap (just kidding!)

I won't be participating this weekend for Pink Saturday, but wanted to show you this pretty pink teapot I found at my local Goodwill store a couple of days ago. It has some crazing on it, which I think gives it some character, but there are no other issues with it....I like it!

Here are 4 pretty Christmas stockings that I currently have listed in my Etsy Store....if anyone is interested in purchasing one, and you don't have an Etsy account, just send me an email (you'll find it on my profile page), and I can easily remove that item from my listings, and send an invoice directly thru Paypal (if you have a Paypal account)

Wishing everyone out here in Blogland a VERY SAFE & HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!!
