Our Christmas Tree (trees)

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, and didn't stuff yourselves TOO much with Turkey and all those yummy trimmings :) We had Thanksgiving over at my sister's house this year, and the food was DELISH!!

Friday night I got our tree out of storage, and put it up and decorated it...this year I have place it in the center of where the French Patio door is. I usually have it either to the left or right, but didn't feel like rearranging the wicker furniture, so decided on this placement. Definitely less of a hassle!

Below are some pictures for you to see that I took earlier, of our Dining Room tree, and also some of my pink tree which I display in our living room. Feel free to click on any of the pics to get a larger view if you like :)

This tree skirt I won on Ebay about 3 years or so ago from the talented Rebecca, of A Gathering Place, and I just LOVE it!!!

These next few pictures are of the decorations that I have in our Living Room... Below is the Pink Tabletop tree...

Thanks for stopping by....I'm off to get that pile of laundry finished that's been WAITING for me, lol :) And my boys are letting me know that they are getting hungry for some lunch...my oldest, Brian, is home from Collage for the weekend, so I have to make sure he gets plenty of home cookin' before he heads back up later this afternoon :)

Until next time!

Everything looks lovely Brenda. Due to my husband's recent stroke I won't put everything out this year. I have a few things out, but I don't have a helper this time around. We had a great Thanksgiving.

Hi Brenda...

Wow...I LOVE the pink Christmas decorations... so beautiful. I never knew my mom's mother. She passed away before I was born...BUT my mom would always tell me stories of how she'd decorate the Christmas tree in pinks every year. I've even seen photos...and this is so much like that...beautiful, romantic and just lovely :) :) :) Thanks for sharing these photos with us. My father wants a tree this year...a tiny one..not sure where we'll buy it yet. We'll probably scope out the scene first to see what prices are like...Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

What a gorgeous tree by your window...I love your drapes, too! Everything looks so pretty, warm and cozy! If I sat down I would never want to get up!!!

I haven't even started decorating as we are not sure if we are going out West or not...lol!

We get plenty of lake effect snow. We are just 2 1/2 blocks from Light House Beach at Lake Huron. That snow gathers as it cross Michigan and sees our house and just dumps on us. hehehe! Well, it seems that way. Thank heavens it is not as bad as what Buffalo, NY gets. They get buried in lake effect.

I need to look at the map, as I do not know where you are...are you on the Western side of the state...the prettier side? Wherever you are, you are where people take wonderful things to the thrift stores!!!!!
I will be enjoying the rain tomorrow and sewing....hope you enjoy it, too!

Love the roses on the tree! Have to admit that these are the first trees that I've seen decorated like this other than my own. I've done a tree in my bedroom with the pink/white/maroon floral motif for about a decade.
