New Pretty Embellished Handtowels & Washcloths

Good Friday morning everyone! First, I want to wish everyone a Very Happy & SAFE Memorial Day weekend ~ we're planning to do a few things around the house; plant our vegetable garden, and then on Monday, we'll be going to Burlee Park, which is just north of Howard City, Michigan, to a huge Flea Market that they have every year. We haven't been to it in about 2 years, so to say that I am EXCITED to be going, is an understatement! LOL :)

I wanted to show you ladies some pretty embellished Handtowels and washcloths that I will be listing in either my Ebay shoppe or my Etsy shoppe, so I hope you will get a chance later to check them out :) I hope to have a couple more embellished handtowels finished by the beginning of next week.

Rose colored 100% cotton handtowels, embellished with vintage rose fabrics, crochet, and pretty ribbon trims....

Soft pink 100% cotton washcloths embellished with vintage lace or crochet trims, ribbon, Quilters cotton, Rachel Ashwell fabric, Reproduction Barkcloth fabric...

Some of you may know, but for those of you who don't Christie Repasy now offers French Farmhouse labels that you can use to decorate and embellish your own bottles and other things with...there are 6 different designs, (3 Images of each design, for a total of 18 labels) and they come on antique style cardstock. Below is a photo of 1 of the labels that I have used so far....the pretty bottle I found at TJMAXX for just $2.99!! I just simply added a pretty pink ribbon bow, as I feel no other embellishment is needed. Go on over to her website to check these out...just click HERE

Don't forget to enter my Cottage Charm giveaway if you haven't already, as there is still time to do so...you have until tomorrow night to enter...just click the link over on my right sidebar to take you to that post to enter. The Giveaway I won from Janet at Shabbyfufu

Hello everyone! I recently won a beautiful Giveaway a little while ago, and wanted to show you all what it is that I won ~ Janet, of Shabbyfufu, hosted a lovely giveaway, which was one of her signature Nightea lights, that are made from beautiful vintage teacups, and below are a couple of photos of it displayed in our main bathroom ~ this bathroom is kinda in the middle of our home, and so there are no windows in it, which is typical of older farm houses. I keep a night light on in there at all times because I HATE going into a dark room, lol :) So, needless to say, I was over the moon happy to have won one of her sweet teacup nightlights! Thank you so much Janet for hosting such a wonderful & beautiful giveaway, and for picking little 'ol me to win it!!

Also included in the package was the sweet tag and pick with gorgeous graphics and shimmery glitter....Love these Janet!!

As most of you know, Janet also has a website filled with Gorgeous items created by her....click HERE to wisk you away.

Thanks so much for stopping by....have a wonderful day everyone :)

My First White Wednesday ~ Celebrating White Wednesday's 100th Post

Hello everyone!! I hadn't planned on doing another post 'till after my garage sale I'm having here, but when I found out that it was going to be Kathleen's 100th post for White Wednesday over at Faded Charm, I just had to join in on the celebration. Now, most of you know that my home is mostly decorated in pinks, but I do have a few things that are white, and am trying to bring more whites into my home. So I scrounged around and took a couple of photos of some whites to share with you all.

In this first photo I have put together a little vignette of some of the whites that I have...the white pitchers were both found at Goodwill, along with the mug, and the silver placed inside ~ the candlestick with the pink candle and the vintage shutter I purchased at a local Antique Mall, and the candleholder with the drippy prisms was an Ebay purchase.

I LOVE this birdcage...this was purchased at a garage sale about 3 years ago for $25, which I don't think is a bad price...

A vintage filigree mirror that I purchased at Goodwill, and painted it white.

I hope you enjoyed my few pieces of white, and be sure to stop on over to Kathleen's Blog, Faded Charm to check out the other wonderful whites being featured.

Be sure to check out the Cottage Charm giveaway I am having, you can click on the picture on the top right sidebar to take you to that post.

Happy White Wednesday Everyone!!

Goodwill & Garage Sale finds ~ Flowers in our Gardens

Good Monday morning to you all! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend ~ I've been busy working on getting things ready for my Garage (Pole Barn) sale, which starts this Thursday. Got all the tables set up out there, and all the "stuff" brought out, now I just need to get it all arranged on the tables. So far the forcast for later this week is looking really good...no rain!! Yeah!!

Last Thursday my daughter and I hit a couple of sales; I found this cute print..

and this sweet little rosey swag, which I have in our main bathroom...

found this fabulous vintage wicker basket at Goodwill, and the pretty pink towels at one of the sales...

I've had a couple of bottles that I have been wanting to embellish, and finally did last week...the bottle on the left is vintage, and the heart-shaped one is a newer bottle, but I've had it for several years.

I thought I would also show you some of things in our landscaping around our home... this is just some of the Peonies that are coming up...there are even more on the other side. Most of them will have at least one bloom this year. I'm just thrilled that when I transplanted them last fall, they all pretty much survived!

Here is my favorite Rhododendron, all overflowing with those gorgeous pink flowers..

A few pretty Tulips...

and my Bleeding Hearts....

Don't forget my Cottage Charm Giveaway..you have until May 28th to enter, and the winner will be announced on May 29th.. Click HERE to take you to the post with all of the info on how to enter.

This will be my last post until after my Garage Sale, so I will wish you all a wonderful week....until next time sweet bloggie friends :)
