Goodwill Chair Update

Hello everyone!! I wanted to update you on the sweet vintage chair that I found at Goodwill. The second photos shows you what it looked like....your typical brown stain, and awful vinyl chair cover, YUCK!!

Here she is all painted up pretty in pink, and with a new chair cover, which is this gorgeous Reproduction Barkcloth called Falling Roses from Urbangardens. The paint color is a very pale pink, called Spring Bloom, by Better Homes and Gardens, which is sold at Walmart.

Yup, this is what it use to look like...

Here it is displayed in our Living room....this isn't the room that I will be having it in; actually, I now have it in our Dining Room next to my white hutch....for now :)

Don't forget to enter my Giveaway that I am having, you can check it out by going HERE, or clicking on the link on my right sidebar.

Also, I will be having my Spring Cleaning Sale in my Etsy shoppe continue for 1 more week, which after that time I will be removing the items from my shoppe, and offering them up in my Garage Sale that I will be having here at my home starting May 19th thru the 21st. So if there is something special that you've been eyeing, then now is the time to make that purchase, and save 30% on it when you use the coupon code; SPRINGCLEAN30 at the checkout. You can click HERE to take you to my shoppe.

Well, that's about all the news, so to speak, that I have for you all right now. I want to take this time to wish all the Mother's, Grandmother's, and Mother's to-be, a wonderful and Happy Mother's Day :) Until next time sweet friends!!

Brenda, you always amaze me with the items you find at the GW. That chair was Yucky to say the least, but she has good bones and you brought out the loveliness in her. Wow! She looks so beautiful now. You did a great job as always.
As I write this, it seems like such a long time since our last visit. It's good to come in and say Happy Pink Saturday.
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day with your family.

I don't think I have entered your give a way and so I am off to do just that, thanks Brenda, Char

Hi Brenda...Chair looks amazing now...wish we had good finds like that at our GW stores but most of the things at our charity shops are from the 80's and have no character. Wish we had your charity shops here.
Hope you had a wonderful mothers day. Love reading your posts.
Warm Wishes,
Michelle
