Vintage Limoges & RS Prussia for Pink Saturday

Gosh, it seems like just yesterday when I did my last Pink Saturday post!! Time sure does fly! Thank you Beverly for hosting this fantastic event each and every Saturday! It's always so much for getting to see everyones pinks :)

Now, we have been having some issues the past 2 1/2 days with our Internet and home phone (we have AT & T), which yesterday I couldn't get online much at all, but today it seems to be okay, so hopefully I can get this post typed up and done before we lose it again!!

Please click HERE to take you to my Giveaway post, so you can leave a comment to be entered.

If you saw my Teacup Tuesday post, then you saw the Vintage Limoges chocolate pot that I showed. Well....below is a picture of the pot, along with the matching 6 cups and saucers. We purchased this set from an Estate sale of some close friends of my parents. They were REALLY big on collecting Antiques! They had a lot of wonderful things, though a bit high priced, but when I saw this set I just HAD to have it. I treasure this set because of who once owned it :)

Here is a close-up of one of the cups. Love the shabby pink roses!!

Each piece has this stamped on the bottom.

Next is an RS Prussia creamer & sugar. This set was purchased Several years ago at an Antique Mall in Greenville Michigan. Sadly, that store went out of business about 12 years or so ago. Love the sweet pink roses, and the green color accent!

2 more pieces of RS Prussia. You have the Cracker jar and the matching mustard pot. I keep the Limoges chocolate set, along with all my RS Prussia pieces displayed in an Antique Oak Side-by-Side Secretary in our Dining Room.

This set is by Lefton, and done in my favorite colors of Pink and Green! The roses on these pieces are so beautiful!

And last up, of course, is a pillow created by me back in February of this year. It has an Image from a vintage valentine postcard with a sweet dark haired girl, and she is surrounded by the most gorgeous pink roses I've ever seen! This is a Door Hanger Sachet pillow, and it has a cups worth of French Lavender tucked inside. It's embellished with beautiful rose lace, parchment & ribbon pink roses, vintage pink ribbon, and a vintage Rhinestone & faux pearl button.

Well, this concludes this weeks post for Pink Saturday. I so hope you have enjoyed your visit with me, and love reading everyone's sweet comments. Hopefully my Internet will continue to work thru tomorrow so that I can visit as many Pink Saturday posts as I can, and be able to leave comments to you all!

Have a great "Pinky" Saturday, and wonderful weekend everyone!! Warmest hugs, Brenda

Some Goodwill Treasures & Some Makeovers

If you saw my Teacup Tuesday post, then you saw the sweet little teacup & saucer that I featured, which I found at Goodwill on Monday. I also found a few other sweet little treasures, and below you will see them, as well as a picture of the makeover's that I gave to 3 of those Goodwill items, plus 2 items that I found at garage sales a couple of weekends ago.

This first picture is of the Teacup, plus 5 matching saucers. I wish they had their matching cups, but this is all there was. I know I will eventually find uses for the other 4, or simply display them with my other vintage china pieces.

Next up, are these lovely pair of Candle holders. I love the shape of them, but not so much the color....they've been given their makeover, which you will see a few photo's below.

This sweet little frame...love the little details on this, and will be cute to put into a sweet vignette.

This darling Birdcage....don't think this is vintage, but I just couldn't pass this up....it too has been given it's makeover below :)

And, finally, this sweet soft pink skirt, with all the lovely crochet trim...so flirty! Can you guess what I will be doing with this ?.....................I'll be transforming it to fit a lampshade of course! I'll be adding some pretty pink ribbons and roses....now I just need to find the right size shade for it to fit over:) Stay tuned for this makeover ladies!

Tah Dah! Here are some of the things that I have painted and transformed. I've still got some more things to do with a couple of these items, like the birdcage, but don't they look so shabbylicious!

Gotta show you one of my newly completed pillows...recognize this Image? It's the one I use for my blog Image :) This pillow is available for purchase if anyone out here is interested in her. Just email me (you can find my email link in my Profile page) The body is made with a gorgeous Vintage pink Damask fabric, with another vintage print used for the sweet ruffle...accented with vintage lace and Mother of Pearl Buttons too! She's a beauty !

And here is a sneek peek at one of the 2 pillows I am now currently working on. This is such a lovely Image.

And here is the teacup....I just got this sweet cup today while I was checking out what was at my Local Goodwill! I found some other fabulous finds there today, but I will show you those goodies in a day or two, so check back later to see them :)

Isn't this just the sweetest rose teacup you've ever seen! The roses are the perfect shabby pink color, and they are so small and sweet. Love this!

Here is a close-up of the sweet little saucer. See, aren't those such cute little pink roses!

The cup is not marked, but the saucer is, and it says: POPE - GOSSER CHINA, Made in U.S.A., STERLING, FLORENCE

Other items in the vignette are this Limoges Chocolate pot, which I also have the matching cups and saucers to....I'll post about these in a future Pink Saturday post.

This sweet white bird cage.....can you see the little white bird on the swing? No, it's not a real bird, lol :)

And as always, one of my sweet friend Rhonda's pretty faux cakes! My post would just not be complete without showing one of these, now would it!

And lastly, this 2DIE4 Vintage Paul De Longpre rose print....I LOVE HIS ROSES!!

I also wanted to show you a couple of pillows that are currently listed over on Ebay.
This first pillow has an adorable Image reproduced onto fabric of gorgeous pink and red roses inside of a wooden cart.

This pillow has a Reproduction rose barkcloth fabric featured in the center, with beautiful Rose patterned white lace gracing the top.
