Pretty Pink Rose Plates for Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday to all my Bloggie Friends!! I'm doing my post early as I have a wedding reception to go to Saturday afternoon, and won't be home for most of the day. I'll visit those tonight, who like me, put their posts up early, and then try to visit a few in the morning. The rest I will do tomorrow night and Sunday :)

And of course, I want to give a big Thank you to Beverly, for hosting this super duper fun event every week! You can click HERE to check out all the other lovely ladies participating :)

And also a reminder to everyone, I currently have 2 giveaways still going on...a link to each of them can be found on my sidebar to give you the details on how you can enter. There is only 1 more week to go!!

Now, for this weeks post for Pink Saturday, I thought I would show you some of my collection of Vintage plates (and bowls) that have gorgeous pink roses...most of these are handpainted! First up is this beautiful Berry set by Royal Rudolstadt. Funny story.....I purchased the larger bowl by one seller on ebay, and the smaller bowls by another seller on Ebay! What are the chances of being able to do that!

Here is a closer view of the larger bowl...aren't the roses on this 2die4!!

All of the pieces have this signature on them.

And each piece has this stamp on the bottom. And so do the plates you will see in the next picture.

Here are 3 plates, also by Royal Rudolstadt ~ these have a different rose design than the set of bowls do, but I think these are more lovely :)

These last 3 photos are of some of my other vintage rose plates...some are marked Germany, some Bavaria, one is marked E.S. Prussia....some are marked Hand Painted, and a couple have no markings to be found.

The pretty pink paper rose you see in the photos was made by my good friend Rhonda (she is also the one who makes the gorgeous faux cakes!) you can click HERE to take you to her fabulous website!

Almost all vintage china I purchase, I always make sure they have the same color scheme....pink roses (of course) with accents of green and white. Most of my plates you see here are displayed either hanging on the wall or up on a shelf.

I hope you have enjoyed my post this week for Pink Saturday :) Please do go and visit all the other blogs participating to see lots of pretty pinks for your eyes to behold! Remember, one can NEVER see or have or own too much pink!!

Hugs to you, Brenda

Cats, we have four, roses, which I am trying to grow, an old two story house, which now at this age is only a dream, and thrift stores. I am in love with your blog and will be back. BE BLESSED
