Good Wednesday morning to you my Bloggie friends!! Yesterday, in-between visiting you all for Teacup Tuesday, ( and THANK YOU to all who stopped by and left me such sweet comments...you're all so sweet!!), I took a little break from the computer and hopped into my car and headed over to my local Goodwill store to see what treasures were waiting there for me :) And a sweet treasure I found indeed!! Now, this frame isn't in perfect condition, it is missing some of it's details here and there, but I didn't care...I loved the look of it, and it still had quite a bit of the details left, and I just fell in love with it! Besides, a little white paint would surely do some magic to it :) And no disrespect to the lady in the photo, but not what I want to display in it.
Below is a close-up of the pretty details this frame has. I love the Oval opening.
So, out came the white paint, and ......tah dah!! Isn't she just gorgeous! I don't have a print/picture to put in her yet, but that will give me something to look forward to searching for. Also, it has no glass in it either, which I may just keep it that way, or perhaps get it fitted for some new glass....haven't decided yet.
I also found a really cute Teddy bear set, but I'm not going to show them to you yet, you'll have to wait until next weeks Teacup Tuesday for them to make their debut :)
Thanks for stopping in for a visit with me :) Love hearing from you all!! Have a great day :)
Warmest Hugs to you!! Brenda

Brenda,
Good Morning!! I just got home form work and I thought I would see who is up to what!!
Fantastic makeover on the frame!!
Roses would look lovely in it. What are you going to do with the pic that was in it? Just wondering.
Today, Joe and I are going up to the Flea market garage when I get up in the afternoon. I run our church flea market and we collect all year round.
They had a donation drop off last Saturday and the garage is full of goodies for me to sort and price. I am sure I will come home with some goodies and stat my running tab. I usually end up writing a hefty check to thechurch when all is said and done but it is worth all the time we put into it to get first pick!!
Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Good morning Brenda
I love your new frame and have a similar one painted and waiting for something to go into it..It sounds like Debbie would love to display the lady's photo you removed! ;) My biggest fear is having my old family photos end up at the local salvation army thrift store..My children and nieces..nephews just aren't interested in having them so what can you do? So sad..
Enjoy your day and I can't wait to see your new teddy collection.
Hugs,
Wanda
