My 5th Teacup Tuesday

Hi Everyone! I'm so glad to be able to do this post, as some of you may have been aware, Blogger was having some issues, and of course, it affected me! They made some upgrades, and unfortunately those upgrades were the cause of the problem. They have since changed things back (thank you!), So I'm doing this post a little earlier than what I normally do, just in case the problem happens to come back!

I want to give a big SHOUT OUT to Martha and to Terri for hosting this FABULOUS event each week!

Also, don't forget I have 2 Giveaways currently going on ~ you can go to my sidebar to click on each link to take you to them :)

And...I've got some new pretties listed on Etsy, so be sure to stop over there and check them out...you'll find the link for that on my sidebar too!

Below is this weeks sweet little vignette I have set up for you :) I have soooo much fun putting them together. As I was doing this one, hubby asked, "WHAT are you doing?" I told him, and he just shook his head...men....they just don't get it, LOL!!

This week I am showcasing another Teacup by Royal Albert. This one is done in the softest shade of blue, and has the sweetest pink roses. I display this cup in my sewing room as those are the colors I decorate in there with.

It even has the sweet roses inside of the cup :) So cute!!

Below you can see the stamping on the bottom of the cup...it reads: ROYAL ALBERT, Bone China, England, Rose-Du-Barry Series, CLAUDETTE

And as always, gotta include some faux bon bons of Rhonda's (You can go to my sidebar and click on the link to her website to see the pretties she has). I've displayed them on a sweet vintage Germany rose plate, done in similar colors as the teacup.

Now, a few posts back I showed you a gorgeous vintage frame that I purchased at Goodwill, and gave it a makeover....I also said I found something else there, but wasn't going to show you until this particular post...well, here it is! I found this adorable set of Bears for ONLY $1, and of course I snatched them up right away. They were connected together, but I snipped the threads to separate them, then dressed them up a bit, and tah dah!! The "mama" bear has glasses, and is wearing a sweet doll dress and cap that I had. Isn't she cute!!

And here is the "baby" bear. I have an Antique Victorian collar piece that I wrapped around her, and secured it with a vintage Mother-of-pearl button. I also placed a vintage pink ribbon bow on top of her head :) Ain't she adorable!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today! I so enjoy your visits, and I look forward to visiting all you other wonderful ladies participating, and seeing your lovey teacups! Isn't this event so much fun!!

Warmest Hugs to you all! Brenda

Hi Brenda,
I had problems with blogger a few months ago. I couldn't post photos and they changed their system. It drove me crazy and then out of the blue, they changed it back. LOL!

Your teacups are so sweet. The teddy bears are the cutest and sweetest looking cuddlies ever. I love their outfits.

hugs,
Sissie

My 6 year old Granddaughter went GaGa ove your post and now she wants to do a post like that! So do you mind if she copies yours for next Tuesday? She has her own blog and is following her her Gramma's foot steps... (sometimes too closely for if I stop too fast... Well lets just say she bounces off my butt!) *wink* You can find her blog on my side bar its called "Me Mady" and some of her tablescapes are amazing and she does them all herself!

Take care there...

What a gorgeous tea cup and saucer CLAUDETTE, by Royal Albert, is!! I collect tea cups and saucers
and I don't have many blue ones at all, so this one really "caught my eye" I love to look at everyone's collections and lay-outs. Such a lot of talented ladies, the way you put things together to make such an appealing picture!
I read your blog faithfully, and so enjoy it!! I did not know you are a Nascar fan!! My hubbs is a
race car fan, too, and used to race semi-professionally in his younger days. He would still do it if he had a race car now AND if I thought I could LIVE through watching him go so fast! LOL For once I am glad we are getting too old for something!
Have a happy HUMP Day!!
Hugs, Francy
