Where I display my Teacups

Hi Everyone! I didn't get a chance to set up a vignette as I usually do for Tea time here in blogland, so for this week I snapped some photos of areas in my home where I display my little teacup collection.

This vintage cabinet is where the bulk of my little collection is kept...here you can see some of my favorite rosey cups.... go ahead and click on any photo to enlarge it so you can see things much better :)

This is where I display my pretty Bavarian cup, on the fireplace mantle that is in our living room....

a couple of my cups are hung on this sweet wall hanger display in the kitchen...

I have 2 cups in my collection that are done in blue with pink roses, so these get displayed in my sewing room, which is done in the colors of blue and pink....this one resides in this sweet vintage wall cabinet...

And this one is displayed up on this charming shelf...

I also wanted to show you some great things I found at 2 of my local Goodwill stores....below is a 3 piece Silver-plated Tea set, plus another silver covered sugar....I'm trying to decide if I want to paint the 3 piece set or leave as is...what do you think?

Love this sweet scrolly white metal basket, and the real-looking rose bouquet....Gosh I LOVE Goodwill!!

And lastly, I wanted to show you this pillow that I created today, and is now available on Ebay :)

UPDATE: This pillow is now SOLD

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me :)

I am participating with the following Tea Parties, so please be sure to visit these lovely hostesses and say hello :)

Hi Brenda, I love all the nooks and crannies you have to display all your beautiful cups.
You really do have a wonderful GW, mine is nowhere are nice as yours. I have seen silver teapots turned into lamps and they are gorgeous. I would paint it, that is unless you love silver. Beautiful post, Char

Dearest Brenda,

That was quite a tour of roses! Love the rose print you got on the mantle; very realistically done!
It must have been a fast sale on eBay as well... the pillow looked lovely, you are very talented!

All your teacups are totally gorgeous, but I also have to say that I LOVE your battanburg lace shelf cover. (That IS battanburg, isn't it?). And that rose print above the mantel...beyond gorgeous!!!

Your pillow is beyond gorgeous as well. In my opinion, one can NEVER have too many decorative pillows. I would love to have one of yours...and one day, when the budget eases a bit, I will.

Finally, I'm for keeping the silver teaset as is. It's beautiful as is and doesn't need embellishment.

Hope football season is going well and that the team (Tigers, right?) is winning.

Blessings on your day, my friend.

Love,
Patti

Wow, the pillow didn't last long! I love your house! I say paint the tea set. I painted a little covered creamer and then did jewels on the top and it sold immediately in my web store.

I am so impressed with the way you display all of your teacups. I just have mine in a cabinet my husband got for me a number of years ago... to hold my ever growing tea cup and teapot collection.. I have pretty much out grown it too. Time to re think how I have them displayed.

Hi Brenda, I've been doing a lot of thinking about you lately and I'll fill you in later. Your displays of everything rosy in your home is so pretty and I can see why the pillow went fast.... it's simply gorgeous! I say paint the tea set because it would go so much better with your style of decorating.

Sending Hugs*
