My Dressed in Pink Manniquin for Pink Saturday

Hello everyone!! Goodness, I have been MIA for Pink Saturday for a few months now, but I am at least back again for this week, and wanted to feature my Manniquin all dressed in her Vintage pink finery ~ The manny itself is not old, but new, and I purchased it over on Ebay a couple of years or so ago....the gorgeous and flowing dress that she wears is a Vintage Gunne Sax Prom dress from the late 70's to early 80's, and has lots of wonderful lace trim

She wears this lovely sheer pink Vintage hat with both a new large Millinery rose and vintage Millinery roses too...

And of course, she MUST have her Bling to wear :) A vintage Rhinestone necklace, 2 vintage Rhinestone pins, a Cameo necklace, and a pin with a red rose..

I have her "holding" onto a bouquet of pretty faux pink roses, of course...

She also is wearing a lovely Vintage sheer pink apron with pink roses...

Here is the bottom of the dress, where you can see how sheer this fabric is...LOVE IT!!...

Here is the pretty back....

She is also wearing this gorgeous Vintage crochet collar....check out the beautiful details on it...

One more thing I'd like to share with you for this Pink Saturday is this gorgeous Vintage Rose plate that I purchased on Ebay...it's from a set of 3...

Close-up of the gorgeous roses....aren't they just YUMMY!!..

Well, that's it for my Pink Saturday post...hope you enjoyed seeing my Pinkalicious manny :) I want to thank Beverly for hosting this wonderful and super fun event each and every Saturday....Just click HERE to wisk you away to her blog to be able to check out all the other fabulous pinks being shown by all the other lovely participants :) Until next time sweet friends....Have a wonderful weekend everyone :)

Happy Pink Saturday Brenda Sweetie...
Oh how well I remember the Gunne Sax brand and I wore one in 1975. Yep I sure did, and we were all so beautiful with the lace details. It made us feel beautiful. I loved the sweeping of the fabric.

Your Manny sure is blinged out. I love the jewelry pieces and the lace collar, the hat and even the sheer apron is gorgeous. Beautiful.

A HAPPY memory sweet one. Beautiful and thank you for sharing. Your plate is gorgeous as well.

Hope you have a gorgeous weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hi Brenda,
You outdid yourself with the beautifully dressed "manny." (Thanks Mari, that is so much easier to spell!)
Our youngest is 39 and she had many pretty Gunne Sax and we walked into the showroom in San Francisco to purchase them. Those were such fun days. Blouses, skirts, dresses and even the loveliest formal....it was simple and flowing! I wish we had kept it.
You did a beautiful job with the had, rose and blig....
Cozy Hugs,
Jil

Hi sweet girl :) Thank you SO much for your sweet comments and your visit :) I always treasure a visit from you :) Your mannequin is SO pretty !! The dress is so soft and pretty and that apron, sigh, LOVE !!! You inspire me to finish mine. I bought her a year ago, ( Well, hubby got her for me ) and I have a beautiful old ballet dress on her and a pretty tatted collar, but you have inspired me to finish her, poor dear, she has no jewels ! Anyhoo, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods and you are having a wonderful Winter :) Lots of hugs :) :)

Hi sweet Brenda, I hope this finds you warm and toasty too. I love your manny. I don't have one, but after seeing yours, I think I may be in the market. What fun to dress her up in the finest of fabrics and jewels. The collar is over the top beautiful. Your plate is a lucky find, the roses are eye candy and so pretty you feel you could reach out and catch a whif of something heavenly.
Have a great week and so glad to see you are back. Happy Pink Saturday, Char
