Some Exciting News!!!

Hello everyone! I have some very exciting news to share with you ~ Our daughter Amber and son-in-law Kevin were over for dinner Friday night, and afterwards they told us that they are expecting....okay, yes, I was very much in shock as I thought I wouldn't be hearing that particular announcement for another year. She told me my eyes looked like baseballs, LOL :) Anyways, we are very excited and happy for them, of course.....she's due around September 3rd. I still can't believe it, my baby girl is having a baby!! I'm starting to feel old ladies!! LOL :) I'll have to work a little faster on Austin's blanket that I am crocheting, because once they are able to find out what they are having, I'll have to get busy and make a little blanket for my Grandchild....I'm going to be a "crazy crocheter", lol :)

Hi Brenda, Grandbabies are so much fun. It is fun to make a blanket for the new grandbabies. I have hand embroidered a baby quilt for each of my grandsons. You just spoiled them and send them home. Oh Yes, you will need a rocking chair if you don't have one to rock the baby when they get here. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Dearest Brenda,

Congratulations! Can't believe she held back until after the dinner... That's one reason for the 'baseball-eyes...' I guess but it was marvelous news.
Oh, crocheting stitch by stitch a true labor of love for your own blood is so precious. You will enjoy doing overtime!

A big hug and again congratulations; your year will be a very short one...
