Welcome to my Very First Teacup Tuesday!

Happy Teacup Tuesday everyone! A BIG thank you to Martha for hosting this wonderful weekly event! You can go to her blog to check out all the other ladies who are participating by clicking on her link on my sidebar, and also to Terri at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com. This is my VERY first time participating, and I am soooo excited! So, for my first Teacup Tuesday I thought I would show you my first teacup that I ever purchased. I'm sooooo happy I took these photos yesterday afternoon when the sun was shining brightly, because this morning it is grey and rainy, and they wouldn't have turned out so good!

This is also my most favorite, as it is so sweet and delicate. It has wonderful pink roses and white daisies, and the color of the cup itself is white with very softly shades of green ~ the cup is very thin and delicate, and when you hold it to the light you can see right thru it. I also love the shape of the cup and saucer, it's so very feminine and dainty :)

The cup and saucer are stamped on the bottom: M. Z. Austria.

I've also included this sweet little Teapot that compliments the teacup I've featured. It has many of the same soft colors. It isn't marked anywhere, so I don't know it's maker :(

I set up this really cute vignette with both the teacup and the teapot, along with one of Rhonda's sweet faux cake slices, also done in pretty greens, and of course the pillow that I posted about yesterday, as it shares many of those same pretty greens and pinks :) These are all placed on this vintage bed/lap tray that I keep in my sewing room.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me, and be sure to check out the other lovely teacups that will be featured today!
