Man, Do I LOVE Goodwill!!

Yesterday morning, and again this morning, I hit 2 of the local Goodwill stores near our home, and once again found a few treasures to bring back to my house :) Have I told you ladies that I LOVE GOODWILL!!!

Here is what has come to live at my home :)...

Found this yesterday at the Goodwill in Fremont...I have another silver dish like this one that I painted White, and I think I will do the same with this one too..

Look at the cute little feet it has...

Love the detailing on it...

Also at that Goodwill, I found this set of 5 soup bowls...

Aren't these pinkish and yellow roses just too sweet....

These bowls are by Homer Laughlin, Made in the U.S.A., Eggshell, in the Georgian pattern....

And this is what I found today at the Goodwill in Newaygo... Did I score on this lamp base or what!!

love the glass detail in the lamp, and the whole design of it! Next week I will find a lampshade to fit it...

....and this is what I will be placing on the lampshade...the frilly pink skirt I found at Goodwill several weeks ago, and vintage pink ribbon, and the pretty rose pin...I will post a picture of the finished lamp for you ladies to see :)

Wishing everyone a wonderful & fun & creative weekend!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Hello Brenda!!
WHOOT!! WHOOTT!!! You picked up some wonderful finds!!! I love each of them!! Especially the silver tray!!
My fingers are currently covered with black silver tarnish....I have just finished polishing a pair of Sterling candlesticks that I picked up at Value Village for $4.99!!! Yippee!!!! They were black as can be and Ihave been polishing them for two hours, but they sure came up sparkly!! I'll be posting them in a few days..
Take care!

I rarely have the luck at Goodwill that you always seem to have. Guess I'm just in the wrong state. (Actually, I KNOW I'm in the wrong state, since I am a Southern girl and am living in a Northern state!!)

That lamp is beautiful. I can't wait to see your lampshade. I have no doubt that it will be stunning, as is everything you put your hand to.

Have a lovely weekend!!

Love,
Patti

Hi Brenda, Well, I'm kinda back and I'm trying to make my rounds making comments to all my favorite girls. It must be nice to live close by to one of those places because It definitely give you the opportunity to see things at first hand. The tray is darling, I love how its off from the table with those cute little legs and the lamp base is something I wouldn't mind having, but then again I do have plenty and also lots of rosy bowls. You are one LUcky Lady to have seen all these treasures all at once.

Big Hugs*
