Okay, now on to what I have for you for this Pink Saturday! First, I have 4 pictures for you of my Living Room. The top Wallpaper is a pretty pink tonal paper, and the bottom is a lovely rose covered print, with borders of more pink roses.
For now, I have a white Matelasse that covers the sofa, I intend to one day get a slipcover for it :)
Yes, we have a BIG BLACK BOX!! It's okay, I really enjoy watching tv on it :)
We don't have an actual fireplace, but I'd seen in magazines where you can put up a fireplace surround and conceal that fact with pretty lace panels, so.....that's what I have done, and I LOVE IT!!!

These next 8 photos are of some really pretty items with handpainted pink roses that I have bought from some very talented artists/sellers on Ebay.
This beautiful painted window I bought in an Antique Mall in Traverse City, Michigan a few years ago, and when I first saw it, I knew it was coming home with me, lol :) After all, I do LOVE roses :)
And lastly, is this GORGEOUS original painting by the very talented artist Cindy Ellis. I purchased this from a seller on ebay a couple of years ago. I can't believe she was wanting to part with it! Me? I NEVER will :)

The house if adorable and PINK and yes, you can have a mantle without a fireplace, sweetpea! Go look at my house at the top of my blog just under the logo entitled "My House". It's one of the new "Pages" blogger initiated just a few months ago. It has my family room where I added a faux fireplace mantel and it works really well. Yours is stunning. I love the top part.

We have the black box too but I have it in an entertainment center and I told my hubby that when that TV dies, we HAVE to find one that fits in there because i am not getting rid of the entertainment center!!

Brenda, everything is soooooooooooo loverly.. My big black box tv will sit on a cabinet very similar to yours in that photo. I love to watch tv on mine too. I love your living room and your firplace ... I have a fireplace i jut painted.. It will have a wood stove sitting in front of it though come winter. LOve love love your photos. Sheila

Your living room is just gorgeous Brenda. It's like a garden full of beautiful roses. I could spend hours and hours in your living room just admiring all of your pretty things. Isn't it horrible that all electronics these days are black? I love my TV too, but I'd love it a whole lot more if it were white so it would fit in better with my decor. Same goes with my computer which I call the "big black monster" in my pastel home office. It takes up a good chunk of my desk and sticks out like a sore thumb surrounded as it is with all my pale blues and pinks. To bad electronic companies don't think of us women when they manufacture thier equipment. I bet if they offered them in white as well as black, the white would become a big seller.
